EveAnna was in Milan, Italy for the 2007 TOP AUDIO hifi show September 13 - 16 supporting our Italian importer, Best Audio. Here below is EveAnna and Giacomo who was of immeasurable help during the week. Ciao!
Manley dealer and acoustics designer Chris Pelonis brought Jim Messina to the factory May 29, 2007 to pick out capsules for his new Manley Reference Gold Stereo Microphone. We also built a Reference Gold Mono mic for him and did a cool custom mod on a Manley ELOP which also allowed it to be used as a straight line amp with these custom "WP" Reference Gold mics that have the built-in transformerless preamps.
Very hip.
And Jim is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet.

The Home Theater Cruise in October 2005 was good fun at the casino.
Hanging out with the META guys was a rare opportunity.
Gambling with Ed Cherney, Al Schmitt, and Elliot Scheiner: PRICELESS
Being on a cruise ship is akin to being stuck at a Denny's or Red Lobster for a week. Except there's a casino. So I got up $3400 in two days and just played for free all week on the ship's money to relieve boredom. It is no wonder the French Monk who invented Roulette hung himself. Roulette is a maddeningly random game!
The only other good thing was hanging out with our industry's best recording engineers.
The AES in NYC October 7-10, 2005 was a crazy week.
